Hi everyone, I’m Everett Williams and most of you probably already know me. I work in Central Office as coordinator for the Records Management Department and have been with the Funds almost 14 years. During that time, I previously held a position on the union grievance team. I am one of the few who has “seen” what management entails. I was the Records Management Manager for 3 years before coming back to the classified staff as coordinator.
I am a 25-year cancer survivor and other than work mainly being my life, I love cigars which means after hours, or weekends you may find me at a cigar lounge enjoying the moment. As your steward I have enjoyed learning about our rights as a union, and the most rewarding part of being a steward is being here as a support to all my fellow union brother and sisters who may need me to advocate for them.
Please don’t hesitate to come see me! My door is always open. As your first point of contact here in the Central Office I want to make sure you know me and understand that I truly want to help you in any way I can.
My name is Misty Thompson, and I have been with the Funds for over 5 years. I will be here 6 years in May. I am a Senior Beneficiary Care Representative in the Call Center. I have been a Union Steward since last April. I have a 7-year-old son, Easton, who is very involved in travel soccer. He also plays basketball right now as well, so we stay very busy with sports. My husband, Brandon, is the COO with Chick-fil-A. We love God’s chicken for so many reasons lol! I am always ready to go to any concert or take a trip at any time. My favorite place to visit is Nashville and Disney. I am a very bubbly and positive person regardless of what comes my way, and I get myself ready to go in the mornings with Today’s Christian Radio or some good ole Morgan Wallen. Although there are trying days with our job, you have to keep a smile on your face and keep going. I love my coworkers, and I have truly formed some of my best friendships here at the Funds. I want all of you to know you can come to me anytime, and I will help take a negative situation and make it a positive one to the very best of my ability.
Always Be Kind. Pray Daily. Keep Smiling.
